CyanogenMod 12.1 Custom ROM For Tecno Camon C8

Tecno camon C8 users, today i will be sharing with you a smooth and beautiful cyanogenMod12.1 custom rom for tecno camon C8, all you have to do is follow the instructions you read accordingly.

Requirements
-PC
-Tecno camon C8 device that runs on android 5.0.1 lollipop (if you are on android 6.1, click HERE to downgrade) 
-Download SP flash tool
-Download VCOM Driver
-Download GAPPS (Google Apps) select ARM64 + 5.1 + mini 
-Download CM21.1 ROM + Unsigned stock recovery + CWM recovery
-Functioning brain and patience

NB: Be sure to extract only the recovery packages (stock/cwm) after downloading.

Procedures

-first of all before we can proceed into flashing, we need to install VCOM drivers then after the kinstallation, you install SP flash tool and run it as admin.

-Launch your SP flashtool, and click on "scatter loading", then navigate your way and select "unsigned stock recovery", then proceed by clicking the download button, just like it is shown in the screenshot below.

-now switch off your tecno camon C8 and connect it to your PC via a USB cable

-the flashing process will begin, once the flashing process has been completed, you will see a good mark symbol prompt on your screen after which you disconnect your phone from the PC and boot it.

-once your phone has turned on, locate and copy "CM12.1-20160510-UNOFFICIAL-TECNO-C8.zip" to the root of your SD card, after which you switch off your android device.

-now boot your device into recovery mode by pressing and holding the power button + volume up simultaneously. (there is an illustration shown in the caption below)

-use your volume down key to navigate to "apply update from SD card" and use the power button to select.

-now reboot your phone.

-once it has been rebooted, locate and copy "open_gapps-arm64-5.1-mini-20160614.zip" to the internal storage of your phone, after which you turn off your device.

-launch SP Flashtool, tap on “Scatter Loading” and navigate to the “CWM Recovery (5.1)”, select the scatter file and click Download.

-now connect your phone to PC via USB cable 

-the flashing process will begin, once the flashing process has been completed, you will see a good mark symbol prompt on your screen after which you disconnect your phone from the PC. 

-now boot your device into recovery mode (power button + volume up simultaneously)

-locate and select "install zip" now navigate to "choose zip from SD card"

-select "0" using the power button and navigate to “open_gapps-arm64-5.1-mini-20160614.zip” folder and select it.

-wait till the installation is complete then you reboot.

Congratulations! you have successfully flashed cyanogenMod 12.1  custom rom on your tecno camon C8 device.
